Really???

I have had a couple of habitats now and can say they are great skateboards. This is a review on the Habitat Stephen Janoski Terrene series deck.

Graphic: The graphic is a white dipped with orange paint deck, and the used earth tones to make this series of decks really appealing, but there is a lot more to this board than graphics

Construction: This board uses Habitat's skylite technology where they use 5 plies instead of 7, and give it more concave and a corragated bottom ply to give it more strength. The corrugated bottom ply helps by giving less friction and slides and grinds, therefore causes less wear and tear to the deck. Also they have the terratone graphics (as I mentioned earlier) covering the whole board.

Durability:This skateboard was very durable, and it lasted me about three and a half months, whence usually boards last about 2 months for me. This in my opinion was the strongest board I've had, beating out Habitat 7 plies, Enjoi resin 7's, and others.

Weight: This board uses the Habitat Skylite technologies to make it light, but still very durable.

Shape and Pop: The board is a 7.625 by 30.875 size, and has amazing pop. It has a steep nose and a more mellow tale and a lot of concave. The pop in this board is amazing, and it didn't lose any pop the whole time I had it.

Extra Technologies: Habitat's Corrugated bottom ply for smoother slides, and skylite technology to make it strong, yet light.

Overall: Overall I think that this is the best board I have ever had and would definitely recommend it to anyone. 10/10

good review, but there honestly has to be a draw back from an insanely steep concave to make up for the 2 missing plies. and yea, i have held them before.

there isn't really a downside to having 2 less plies, because a boards strength comes from the tip of the edges to the bottom of the middle. the taller the better. So the less plies weakens it but the concave makes up for it

just got a janoski bamboo series myself :) seems pretty good so far then again its my first time back on a skateboard in 3-4 years, and anything will probably seem better than the fucked old school deck I had a few weeks ago ! still it seems light good pop etc, likin the mellow concave.
