i bought a habitat a few weeks ago (3 to be percise) and i broke it it is not completly in half but almost, i am getting a new deck, and my preference is a zero, mystery, or a toy machine. out of those choices can you tel me the characteristics of those companies, and why you think they are good. and no on or 3 word answers, like i know some of you do.

Zero - Decent pop, good concave, not too shallow kicktails, durable, and great for slides

Mystery - Nearly the same as Zero (same distributor), just not as durable and not as good for slides

yeah i thought they slide really good, in their videos it looks like they are sliding like butter, i love the way they slide.

at school. My friends little brother has one. I didn't say it wasn't good. I said it was heavy. Girls are heavy but they are still good. they are good decks.

I skated a zero that was ok not great had medium concave a little heavy
I iskated a mystery that felt like total shit it felt like it came out of someone's ass I couldn't skate it so I got a toy mahcine it was the greatest thing I have ever skated it felt great nice mellow concave it didn't feel heavy so much as sturdy nose was large but not oversized like so many boards I have had the tail was not dramatically smaller than the nose like on most boards just all around perfect imo I have had 5 toy machines since and they all were perfect and havent gone back to mystery or zero again although I might if I cannot find another toy machine in my size (8.25)

zero and mystery are off the same company and are pretty much the same i found mystery to be lighter tho and obviously dif grapphic, other then that pop, shape etc is the same.. toy machine i find ride the same only heavier and i think have more pop. but i prefer zero/mystery cause both are very durable

I've had a Zero, Toy Machine, Habitat and I've ridden a few Mystery's.

My pick out of them would be Zero, they've never let me down. Always good pop and a nice shape (their 'shallow grave' concave kicks ass), they aren't heavy enough to really... call heavy, if you catch my drift. Choosing between Zero's and Tum Yeto decks (Toy Machine) is pretty tough, Toy Machine's are really durable and just generally nice to ride allround, great pop and their shapes appeal to me.

I'm currently riding a Foundation and I love it, I would most likely have bought another Zero (would have made it my 6th Zero deck) but wanted to try something new because I'd been snapping my Zero's pretty frequently (I'm pretty heavy + horrible tail landings off 6 stairs).

But I'd definately suggest you get a Zero.
