View Full Version : My deck is warped. Has this happen to you?.

Im sure everyone has had trucks in which the bushings get lopsided and your trucks arent even. Anyway, My AWS is slightly twisted because of this. If you can't picture what i am talking about then think of flexible ruler. Hold it by the ends in both hands and slightly twist one hand forward and the other hand towards you. That is what happened to my board. However, AWS boards are mad nice. The pop is amazing because i rode it four three months and then put away for the winter. It still has amazing pop. But its warped alittle. Its weird.

thankfully no it hasnt happened to me. but my friends board got wavy all the way down. it was kool, lol.

Its not that i cant ride because i can. it aint that messed up and it still feels nice under my feet. I didnt notice until i looked at the board.

the blind board i have right now is warped. when i lay it down one wheel is off the gound a bit and if you push that one down the wheel opposite of it comes off the ground. it still feels fine and works fine for me though so yours should be ok.

Yeah, my toymachine johnny layton deck was warped it did'nt affect the way i skate but just the thought of it being warped drove me insane so i bought a baker.

it happens with the water baced glue boards almost has a gaurntee on their resin boards that they wont warp for the life of the board and they are almost imposable to break the board i have now is my second resin board no problems ive alredy baught my third for when i ware this one out

dont believe all the hype. almost has some of the worst deck quality around, and my freind snapped his resin 8 pretty easily. it didnt look very impossible to me.

that happened to an AWS I had... The truck holes in the deck were a little off so that when I put my trucks on. the front truck was always going to turt right. It sucked.

that happened with a blank to me, but thats not really surprising.

my trucks do the same thing but it hasnt effected my deck i jsut switch it up and try to keep the trucks even until i wear the bushings down and then its nice and straight.

could you post a pic of it? i just want to see how dramatic the twist is
