Heelflip trick tip

Foot placement: place your back foot like a normal ollie, and your front foot around 2 inches behind the front bolts with your toes hanging of the side (this may vary between people) and it help some people to put it on a angle like a kickflip

The pop: pop your back foot like a normal ollie and slide your front foot towards the concave

The flick: when your front foot has reached the concave slide it of the side, I find it is helpful to flick to toes up to the sky to get a nice flip,

Sucking up: after you have flicked you back foot should still be over the board, and your front needs to but sucked back over the board, (this is very important for landed a heelflip)

The catch: keep your feet over than board while its spinning, and wait till you see the grip tape and push your feet back over the board, once you have the catch I find it easier to just catch it with timing,

Landing: after you have caught the board you are going to want to get ready for the landing and bend your knees once you have landed,

Common proberlems!

Under rotating- this is caused by not flicking hard enough.

Over rotating-caused by flicking too hard or catching too late

Board spinning like a pop shove- be shore to get a good clean pop straight to the ground, and also be shore to flick straight of the side

Landing one foot- don’t be afraid to commit, after flicking suck those legs up!

Not staying over the board- be shore to just strait up and get a nice clean pop and flick

board going behind you-if you flick straight of the side not the concave to board will go straight back because of resistants you gotta hit that concave like a kickflip so it will go up not back
Hope I helped!

Mind if I add a little something?

A common problem is the board going behind you...

If you flick straight off the side and not at the concave your board will go straight back upon resistance. You gotta hit that concave just like a kickflip so it'll go up not back.
