Hey i just got a deck and i bought Griptape for it....the guys are duches and dont kno how to put it on so i put it on....Well about 45 minutes after i put it on i went outside and skated it...now around the edges some of it has chipped of...Was I suppose to wait and let it set?

by chipped off do you mean liek ripped off? maybe you didnt cut it enough. but no im pretty sure you dont need to wait for it to set. What happens to me is that in some parts it rips off, in that case its just taking the shape of the board

Just take a old screw driver or something and scrap it along the edge so it wears down some along the edges. Thats what I do and it works perfecto.

yes i kno what he means. the edges of the grip are getting chipped off from rocks. theres nothing you can do except try not to let the board land upside down.

You just didnt cut the griptape correctly, your griptape probably was hanging over the edge a little bit. Dont worry about it, it will even itself out but next time when you put griptape on, make sure it doesnt go over the edges and stays more towards the top side of the deck.

Dont worry about. They are right that happens when the board lands upside down.

ive had that happen were i just put the grip on and it started to rip. just let it set for a little bit like u said
