dude don't take peoples word for things (although habitats are pretty good)... go to the shop and stand on a couple decks you like. if one feels right, go for it. dont' just get a habitat cause "they" say their good.

Habitat!

Backround Info

http://habitatskateboards.com/home/index.php

Made up of an insane team of Getz, Garcia, Wenning, O'Connor, Janoski, Molinar, Baxter-Neal, Gall, Selego and Khalsa, Habitat is known for stylish skating in such videos as Mosaic and soon to be Inhabitants.

I had a Brian Wenning board. Let us break this down, shall we:

Pop

Habitat's aren't known for having massive pop, but they have enough to get by. I can still pop my tricks, but these don't have a shitload. I think it helps contribute to the overall feel of the board, which is fantastic. Even aft er the pop wears, however, it still feels normal, because it hasn't lowered much.

Flip(concave)

I love mellow concave, and this board is perfect for me. Seriously, I loved the feel of the board. It flipped perfectly, and the concave is mellow but still deep by a tad. Overall the flip is nice.

Feel

What can I say, I loved the feel of this board. Feels nice to land on, to simply ride around on, and so on. I loved it for tech shit and ledge skating as well as gaps and drops. I <3 them.

Durability

These board's pop can wear fast, but not extremely fast. They last a while, overall. Usually, from mine and what I have heard, they usually will just snap as opposed to just cracking and chipping. Mine is still in near perfect condition besides the pop after about 25 days of skating everyday.

In The End..

I have never gotten the same board twice,a dn I have had a bunch of boards (10+) and I am getting another Habitat. Almost everybody who has had one that I know has loved them. Overall 9/10

kthnxbye, I was bored

I like how your name is habitat and youve never owned one..

there sick. buy one.

i had the janoski warming worlds deck.

pop was weird.

like noticibaly weird.

not good/bad

just weird.

but once i got used to the deck i loved it.

personally i suggest 1active blanks but if i were to buy a pro model it would be habitat/AWS...

i have a habitat and it has lasted me a year, but its looking pretty shabby right now so i need a new board. i like to try new boards out every time, so i wont be getting another habitat, thats just the way i am. Don't get me wrong they are sick but you will never know until u ride it for yourself. I prob. will get another on in the future because they are my fav. board so far.....i am just going to try out all the boards possible first just to make sure it is the best

I loved my heratage series. I didn't like my land of lore deck that much, I think it was WAY too wide. But other than that I loved both

It's just that way because it's new.i will say this but no onw will listen to me.There is nosuch thing as pop,"pop" is refering to how long your tail lasts,no board has a significant difference in the strength of the tail,it depends on your skating situation.
