Canadian Maple and/or Hemp Ply

ok im looking at decks on utilityboardsupply.com and it says that these habitat decks are made of Hemp plywood....i always thought that canadian maply was the absolute best....will this plywood weigh the board down...and are you guys's habitats made of some kind of plywood?

I just got my Habitat Hemp Ply.. and it feels a bit heavy compared to my Darkstar Armorlight.. I'm not sure about strength yet though, I've only skated it for a few days. So far it seems quite strong.

well of course it feels heavier then your armor light. but I think they might be a little heavier than regular habitats. only a few habitats have the hemp ply. And only one of the plys are hemp. Its supposed to make it have more pop and strength. I have heard really good things. I dont think habitat will make a Bad board.
