Whenever I lube my bearings they always get really greasy and the bearings go slower. Am I putting to much lube in? I have Bones Reds.

are you cleaning them and them lubing them? I am assuming yes when I reply, but you need two drops of speed cream per bearing. After you reinstall them they will go a bit slower until you break them in. Dont worry they'll go fast if you keep em clean and lube properly.
Just lubing already dirty bearings won't do anything but work the dirt in more.
Try not to get lube on the bearing covers or they will attract grease. Your wheels make seem like they spin slow, but when you get on your board it's nice and smooth/ fast... Hope this helped bro..

Put them in a bowl, spray in the lubricant. Then let it take all the crap out, take them out of the bowl and put them on a paper towel to let them dry. Then they should be ready to go.
