ultimatums suck

allright, i seriously need some help, and yea i know you guys wouldnt be a big help but opinions on what i should do would help

allright, apparently my girlfriend and my friends hate each other, and my friends are giving me an ultimatum on this and i have till friday to decide...for those who dont know what an ultimatum is, its when you have been given a choice to choose either your girl or your friends. and i sriously dont know what do to. i mean, my friends are awesome, but my girl is awesome too and i dont want to sound dumb or anything, but we're actually in love with each other and its hard to stop that all of a sudden.
my friends say that if i go with her, i dont be with them anymore and i wont have as much friends as i do now. if i go with friends, ill crush my girls heart and the thing that worries me that if i do, she might start to feel really depressed and might start to cut again...(she used to, but she stopped. and she stopped permentaly cause of me...so yea, you would see why)

so what do you think i should do? and agian, i only have 4 days to choose...

My friends would never give me an ultimatum - and if my girlfriend ever did I would have no choice but to tell her if she cant live with it or whatever then I cant be with her. Luckily my current girlfriend didnt even care when my she was in my room and my housemates played porn VERY loud and blatantly on purpose so we would here.

But yeha, your friends arent real friends unless theyve talked to you... Seems you dont care much for your friends because your reaction was "id have less friends". Since when did friendships count on the level of how many you have... If you seriously think liek that then their friendship isnt obviously that strong.

no, i seriously dont think that. the only reason why i thought i would have less friends is because if they started to really hate me just because i chose to go with my girl, they can make alot of people hate me....and they can do it, ive seen them do it to other people.
and i do talk to them alot, but when we talk about my girlfriend, i always try to defend her and then they get all whiny and say ive changed and standing up for you girlfriend does not mean that you have changed....but they think i have, which is another big reason why they are doing this ultamatum on me.

Dude I've been in the exact same position and I chose my friends and never regret it. She actually called me that night crying asking me why I chose them and maybe we could still go out, but she was the one that told me to pick between my friends and her so I just did the right thing and ditched her ass.
