i live in melbourne and every where i find i new spot to skate at theres either bits of metal concreted into blocks so you can grind/slide them and they make bumps on the rails of stair sets and they put this bumpy stuff just before the first step so you slow down before you pop...i just wanted to know if you have noticed this too

Yah, those metal things are skate stoppers, and they are now in most cities.

There is a tool so you can take them off. Im glad my city didnt catch on to it yet.

But your city might be using different hardware. Just take a look at whats holding it down and bring the right tool.

Yeah, skate stoppers, they're pretty much at any good skate spot these days.. you find them in Sydney heaps aswell, there's not much you can do.

Not in my city but there are then little metal cap things before stairs. I want to buy some concrete and concrete over them all so it's smooth.
I hate them soo much.

nah theyre acctually concreted in so theres a large portion of concrete to get through you would maybe even wreck the block before you got one bit out...thanks anyway

I wish some fat guy came to my city and skated over them all so they were pushed smoothly into the concrete.

its actually not to stop skating apparently its for blind people but obviously everything else is to stop skating

haha good idea...he'd have to be pretty fat and hed find it pretty hard to get onto the ledges i like to skate on

yeah i was standing at a crossing earlier today and i was thinking it might be for blind people...but it still screws us up

I think skateboards should stele alot of drugs, sell them get loads of cash and buy concrete and start concreting all the skate stoppers and make new spots with the left over concrete.

but then we'd get a slope before the stairs so youd have to push harder an im lazy :P
haha, seriously though couldn't u just get a big ol' bit of plywood an put it over it?

how are you going to put plywood over the lego and skate over it you would need to ollie to get onto it then your run would be f*cked
