How are black label decks? I heard they made something called a power beam? WHat does that do? Where can i get one. What about their regular decks?

I cannot vouch for the powerbeams but the regular ones are great. I have an Emergency Lucero and love it.

I have a black label backlight. I've had it for about a month or so and i love it. The powerbeam and backlight decks are just a new technology like darkstar armorlight or santa cruz powerlight. It is suppost to make the board lighter and stronger and it even comes with a 120 day warranty against breakage. I highly recommend black label decks, and if you can find a powerbeam or backlight than get one. They are even better than regular black labels. If you have any other questions on em just ask me.

So, between the power beam and black light which is stronger/poppier? What is the difference between the two?

ummmm...i think backlight is newer thats all. It's not all that different, but im pretty sure the powerbeam is stronger, but not by much. trust me you wont break your backlight easily so theres not much of a difference. And as for pop goes, all black labels are pretty equal IMO, and you cant beat the pop on my backlight deck.

The powerbeam actually has a cross ply layer, meaning it goes perpendicular to the other plies. If you studied hard in school, or played legos, you know that building that way makes stronger structures. It's like a log cabin.

Same with me. I didnt know it was a back light when i first got it. Then i noticed all the plys were white except for the middle one, which was red. So I looked up the board online and it was a backlight.
