I weigh 200 pounds, i skated several years ago when i was about 180 but since then played football and gained some weight. Now i really want to get back into skating. I'm looking for a good board that can take some abuse and last a long time. so if anyone has any ideas about some good decks that can hold up please help me out. Thanks

i know this is gunna sound gay, but when i was fat i had a tony hawk board that lasted me almost a year, i learned all my begginer shit on that board, i would go with a darkstar armor light, or a sun diego blank, their 8's are like a boat on wheels, they are like 12 ply(exageration)

Darkstar armorlight would be the best choice. Or the Santa Cruz.

If you want one that is sturdy then go with the black label.

hahaha im heavyer then u. but dont get a darkstar arrmor light, not worth it. i broke it in a month. but the best choices would be a santa cruz power light, comet, libtech, and girl. girls last me a long time.
it you dont know about comet or libtech hes the site.

i have one now and its light as hell but strong as ***** concave has 2 molds high and mellow, and pop is super.

the same thing but like 2 or 3 times stronger. pop is good concave is mellow
