Chatham's got a bunch of good spots.Theres a lot to name but Il name the more well known spots.
Munie-The courthouse, the big ass building right in front of the skatepark, but were not aloud to skate there anymore since theres a park right in front there. It has a long ass ledge, knee high drop,a few 3 stairs, long garden gap(maybe 5 feet long with a knee high drop in front).Rails and ledges to ollie over that are placed infront of the drop, wheelchair ramps.Probably the most well known spot in Chatham befor the park was built.

Im going to put the spots in catagories to make this easy.

Gaps

Munie garden gap,already explained it.

Evangel-At Evangel church, maybe around 3 feet long, its like a curb to curb gap, lots of fun,you can also gap the curb sideways wich is longer, maybe 4 and half feet sideways, you can use this as a manny pad as well. The church is on Sandy Street and is right next to The Pines(UCC highschool).

The new gap-A really nice gap, around 4 and a half feet long with a nice landing and pretty good run up.Its at the Madix and Myers Jewelry store, not really sure were it is exactly.Close to Taylor Ave.

Sets
Civic-theres an 8 and a 7 stair(the 7 is gay since it has a metal thing infront of it and a sideways run up),nice 8,really nice run up(like 100 feet),but a crappy landing. Its behind the Civic Center wich is right next to the one of the downtown bridges, right on the river.

Vanier-5 set with a pretty good run up and landing(one of my favorite spots)its at the George P.Vanier alimentary school wich is close to the kingsmen auditorium and Memorial Arena, ask most adults and they can give you directions, its on Sandy street I think.

Ck-2 stair, nothing special, its at the Ckss highschool wich is on Mcnoughton Ave.

Muni-3 stair,already explained.

CCI-7 stair, nice landing but terrible run up,its a sideways run up.I don't even know how to get there, its at the old CCI highschool wich is closed now.

Victoria 9-9 stair with a nice landing but pretty bad run up,the run up is fine but you have to a bit of a pivot befor you go down the set,the set curves to right so youve got to do that pivot wich can throw you off a bit.Its at the Victoria church witch is on Victoria Avenue.

Theres also an 8 set at the skatepark.

Drops
Zellers-one of my favorite drops, its about 4 and a half feet on one side(it has two drops) and around 5 and half feet on the other side, good landing on the smaller drop and rough landing on the bigger one,run up is kind of gay ish,its around a 8 or foot run up.Theres also a peice of metal thats at the edge of the drop, its only like 2 inches high tho so its not a big deal. Its behind Zellers witch is at the Thames-Lea Mall wich is on Grand Ave.

Munie-Knee high,already explained.

Post-post has 2 drops, one that is knee high and one that is around 4 feet high, side ways run up for the knee high one(or straight if you want but its around 4 feet if you go straight)and its the same run up for the big drop, landing is nice and smooth. Its at the Post Office witch is downtown, close to the mall. Not sure what street its on.

Judy Lamarsh-Around the same size as Zellers-about 4 and half feet high, alright runway and smooth landing, theres also pic nic tables there(the nice really long kind),a little farther down theres a ledge that is around 3 decks high that goes down a knee high drop, the ledge gets shorter as it goes farther down(so does the drop). This is at the Judy Lamarsh buildilding wich is close to the movie theather, its downtown.

Chatham Plumbing-Around 4 or so feet big, havent skated there but have seen it,around a 10 foot run up and no idea what the landing is like. Its at the Chatham Plumbing store wich is on Richman Avenue, its right accross from the Wheels.

Stage-Not sure if you consider this a drop since it has a 5 foot gap you have to clear, its a gnarly mother fucker, around the 5 and 3/4 feet high(around chin high, and im 6 feet tall.Smooth run up and landing but the run up is alright if they dont have the big as bench set up but if its set up then its a sideways run up were you have to pivot right befor. As I said befor, its got around a 5 or so foot grass gap that you have to clear. Its in Tecumseh Park wich is downtown, its right across from the Chatham Culturel center.

Handrails
Civic-thers a handrail down the 8 I was talking about before.Beter make sure you dont fall to the left tho, theres like a 10 foot drop that lands on another set.Its pretty high to,not much has been done on it.Its square by the way.

Sears-the gnarliness,a 17 stair circle rail to.Terrible run up,like 5 feet but with a good landing. Its super high to,only 1 person has even done it.Its right outside of sears, witch is at the mall downtown.

CCI-Nice and low circle handrail, crap run up and the landing for the handrail is in the grass so bring some wood for the landing.

Banks
Bridge-2 bank walls set up like a mini ramp, one side is really nice and steep, other side is nice and mellow, its sucks tho since its under the brige so theres a river right next to it and the flat area is slanted,it goes downhill toward the river so if you shoot out,you just lost your set up.So bring a few people to stand at the botom if you skate there.Under the bridge that goes downtown, right next to Civic,The street is St Clair I think.

This bank dosent have a name, not sure were it is but its next to nuts and bolts(an old torn down skate spot). Its pretty close to the old nofrills, its downtown. Not to steep, its pretty smoth tho.

Bob food basics-really small bank thats only like 2 feet long and not steep at all,its actually mainly used to gap over, its behind the Bobs food Basic grocery store, its on St Clair.

Ledges
Munie-Long ass ledge there, dont skate there any more, its pointless with the park about 150 feet away.

Doctors Office-Nice ledge, around 8 feet long, goes down a really long 2 set, about curb high but gets higher as it goes,at the end its like 3 decks high, you can also do shit over the ledge and go down like a 3 deck high drop, good run up and its nice and smooth, bad landing tho, since its about 3 feet landing, then you go into the grass, its right infront of a wooden fence so make sure not to hit it if you grind to long(I have almost done that a few times lol). Its at the doctors office with is front of the river(its facing civic, but its on the other side of the river),its on St Clair.

Greagory Drive Church-Its like a 3 set,you grind it sideways,so you have a variaty of what height you want to grind(like second or third set). Its at the Gregory Drive church, really close to the maples(a subdivion).

Manuel Pads

No name to this place but its right next to munie, some really nice pads, theres arounnd 4 of em with a variaty of lenghts.

Evangel-the gap I was talking about befor has a manny pad,you can also gap to manuel with the main gap,its pretty nice.

Wal Mart/Superstore-lots and lots of manuel pads around these 2 buildings, its located on St Clair, way down the road to where WalMart is.Theres also a bump at WalMart(like a kicker) that is super fun,its right infront there.

Holy shit sam you nailed off everything we skate, well ckss has some pads on the side of it too.

We also have the old no frills, there is 2 pads down there and on the side of it there is a ledge going upwards, it is pretty nice, usually waxed nicely.
