ok, im looking to get some awesome new music for my ipod, so naturally, i decided to check Music on Sb-c. i need you guys to hook me up with some bands and some songs.

i want it to sound like The Ramones, Blue Oyster Cult, and things of that nature. maybe some rap, too, as long as its REALLY good rap. i dont want anything like NWA, or gangster rap like that, because i already have some music by them. but i still want reccomendations. thank you all.

so, post away, i appreciate all your help, even if its really not something i will like, thanks for your time and participation.

Check out Cold Duck Complex. Its a jazz/funk band with a rapper. They arent very well known, so they wont have their music in stores I dont think. Check out their myspace page. They're sick.

Are you fucking stupid or is listening to garbage fun for you? MF Doom is hands down the worst rapper ever. His lyrics are just plain awful, his beats are whack, and he made an album for Adult Swim. He could not possibly be worse and still be famous (other than Wiliam Hung fame anyway).

Two good bands that you probably don't know:

Morcheeba
Wolf Parade

Thats all I really feel like giving you, because I know its a 90% chance you'll like it, they're that good. They're the kind of band anyone could enjoy, so I'm not even gonna bother naming artist in some esoteric genre.
