Haven't had either of them but the Fallens toe cap doesn't look very durable. So I would go with the Boss

the emerica the boss is what i am now wearing
i ve been with it for a month and so far there is not the least bad thing about it
it makes a good balance between durablitity and comfort and is a good shoe to skate with, looks not so stylish though....

there both awesome, but they both have things that are turn offs, the fallens are leather, and anybody that has skated leather knows its nothing like suede, but the emericas have an airbag in the heel, which cuts off your board feel, so really it comes down to if you mind either of those (i would go with the emericas)
