ok guys..so I have a question about football. I played for the firs time last year..and now Im on the JV team at my school. I lost some weight since last year and im alot faster..and stronger. I played defensive tackle last year. but I think now I want to play linebacker, but I dont know if Im really tall enough..is like 5 9 a good size for a linebacker? I didnt think so..haha

Its not about height, their not expected to jump up and int a ball or anything. Its mostly strength and weight. Orlando Pace (off. line) hes 6'8 and something like 300 last time I seen.

It ain't the size of the dog in the fight ,it's the size of the fight in the dog ......unless you're a labradoodle , then you have such a gay name you should kill yourself on the spot .

Not really, 5'9 isn't bad. Brooks, Lewis, Thurman, Thomas are all in the 6 feet range.(no longer then 6'2) and they're all beasts.

It all depends on what you're talking about.

No height dont matter. My dad was only like 5'7 back in high school but weighed like 170 pounds all muscle. Actually I think he played linebacker some, he played mostly anywhere he was needed.

Fuck man...Its all about technique, You can be 7'0 300 all muscle and still be a shitty linebacker. As long as you got proper form and hit low your all good.
