View Full Version : loading footage onto comp??

I am confused i have an optura 10 and i know that the usb is for uploading pictures. So i bought a firewire which is the same thing as a dv cable i think? But my computer has no firewire port do i need to buy something else. Oh and my computer is only a few years old

ya i cant figure it out cause i have heard you can use usb but for me it only works with pics

a firewire pci card enables you to hook the optura to the computer, you gotta put it in yourself, where the PCI slots are. the PCI slots on comptuers are on the back, and you gotta like open up your computer unscrew it, put it in screw it back in and yadayadayada

Exactally.
