hey, im going to sydney for the long weekend, im stayin at star city or something but what are the skate parks and spots?

dude star city is dumb unless your over 18.
the parks there are monster park which is in home bush around telestra stadium somewhere.

look for parks in nsw.
The ones you should chek out in there are.

Camden that is hour away from city

Campbelltown/leahmeah which is an hour away from city and half hour away from camdem

monster skate park which is in sydney some where

slam city not sure where it is

If you need any more help with sydney just ask here or in pm form.
I live in campbelltown by the way so you can come skateboarding wif me if you want to go on train for an hour.

no lol im staying there the hotel. and only the city, isnt there a city skatepark?

Not sure if there is one in the city but the only one i know about there is
slam city and monster park

There is one at:
Chatswood- reasonably big, pretty cool, not over run with under 10 kids. I advise this park.

Burwood- very small, nobody uses it, there is 2 ramps, they are about 5 foot. There is also a grind rail (i think).

Olympic park (the monster thing)-this skateboard park is over-run with kids under 10, none of them can really skate and they crowd around the tops of the ramps. Also they ride around the middle of the ramps. This park is not advised. Also you must wear a helmet to enter. This park is not free like the others and isnt really worth going to, unless your a parent looking for a child minding facility, lol! (the park would be the best in sydney if it wasnt for the kids, although chatswood offers more variety, like a bowl and a grind rail, the monster one is only ramps.)

The obsticles are big, but the part itself is very small.


Go to Martins Place and stuff.

Nows it back I would say Paramatta.
I haven't been skating for more than 10 months, but Paramatta has good stairs and pyramid ledges. Its also harder to get kicked out.

But if you want a maad park, go to waterloo... go to skateboard.com.au
its full street set up. but yeah... as the guy above me said :) parra is awesome..

Been to waterloo lad, let me warn others, its a great park but you don't wanna be there when the sun goes down and the darkness comes up.

I want to go to waterloo park, it isn't any more dangerous then my park or bargo, but with my local park i'm a local there and know loads of people....

Martin Place, St. Mary's Cathedral.

Just go to the city and there's a fair few good spots.

Nahh man i missed the comp, I was gunna go to the Riverwood comp on saturday but the rain got the better of that, and to sk8er goth yes St marys is a sick place to skate with plenty of room for everyone.

I don't know where the station is exactly, I have been to martin place though, and it has a station soo.
yeah i'm 14 and I am allowed anywhere, except to far from my house, 40 minutes radias I am allowed. no trains.......when i'm 15 I will be allowed to go on the train, my sister is 17 and she is allowed to go on the train byherself, and i'm a guy and i'm 14 and not alllowed on the train with a friends, fuck that shit.
