Okay, I'm midway through high school and I've been wondering about what college I wanna try out for. The thing is I really don't wanna go to a school i the U.S. because I've seen dozens and haven't been to impressed. A friend of my brothers (American) goes to college in Britian and he says he loves it. So do you think it's worth it to check out some colleges in Britian?

College in Britain and College in the US is very different, but I have a feeling you mean University, as no-one would come to Britain just to do 2 years in a sixth form.
University (where I'm going in September) is a really awesome experience. To put it simply, you stay with your peers for 3 years in a primitive hotel set up with no money, and any money you do earn will be spent on beer, which is like, 50 cents a pint in student bars. You'll do very little in the way of work, except for the last month before your exams when you cram.
You will usually start Uni at the age of 18 going on 19, although some people are 20 when they start Uni, it all depends on if you take a year out, or whether you get the qualifications or not.
I'd say theres no harm in checking it out.
If you want more info on UK uni's, I'd say talk to flipuk, as he's been at Sheffield Uni for the past year.

Im doing Biology(probably Zoology in 2nd year but ive got the option to do whatever), at Uni. Im doing it in Scotland though, would be too expensive to go down to England or whatever.

Aha, Each one has something the other doesn't. I don't know really, I'm not at the point where I have to start making a sure choice so I'll look into most things.
