Ok, sure I'll help ya.

I'll detail this very well so it should be quite simple when I'm through with this tutorial.

Let's start this one step at a time.

First off, your going to need to open up Sorenson Squeeze.

Ok, so you have it open. Now you need to import the video that you want to compress (if you already have it saved to your computer, if not go ahead and capture the video from the camcorder). To import the video go to File - Import Source....

Now, you should have a little video preview at the top. Below it you should see these two small grey triangles. Put these so that the area you want to compress is inbetween them. If you want to compress the whole thing, don't mess with these.

Now look towards the left hand side. You should see 4 boxes. They each have a different name at the top. There's "Input", "Filters", "Format & Compression Settings", and "Details". You need to look in the "Format & Compression Settings" and find a format you'd like it to be. Click the "+" beside the format you like and a few options should pop under it. Select the option you want by clicking it once, then find the button a little below it and to the right that says "Apply ->", click it.

Now simply go to the very bottom-right corner of the entire window and you'll see a button labeled "SQUEEZE IT!", click it.

Walaa, give it a second and you should see a percentage in some of the boxes. Wait till it gets to 100%, and your done.

Host it with a file hoster (Ex. Putfile, Youtube, Skatetek, Powow, ect.) and you're done.

Congratulations. Let me know if you need more help.

You can find them on skateperception.com, just search the forum. I however dont use ss any more because qt pro is way better.

It allows you to compress videos using h.24 compression or some crap like that, and for me it gives me better quality than sorenson squeeze.

Haha.

So wait, you have to have QT pro to get that format setting? Dang. I guess I'll just have to download Super Settings :(.

Yeah, that's what I use. Hey, how and where can I download Super Settings?

First, download this (http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/squeeze_settings.xss). (Right-click>Save As... and remember where you save it to.)

EDIT: If you have trouble with the above, download and un-zip this (http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/squeeze_settings.zip) and remember where you un-zipped it at.

EDIT 2: This (http://quicktime.wikicities.com/wiki/Tutorial:High_quality_at_low_bit_rates) link might prove helpful if you are interested in tweaking settings to your own desire. Thanks to Dan B for the link.

http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/sorensonfour1.gif
When you saved the settings file from above, click the little plus (+) sign to create a new compression setting.
(Be sure you've clicked on the Quicktime pull-down menu first, as shown in the screenshot.)

http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/sorensonfour2.gif
Then click the import button on the dialog box that pops up after clicking the plus sign.

http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/sorensonfour3.gif
Find the squeeze_settings.xss file and click open. (if you lost it, use your OS'es search/find feature.)

http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/sorensonfour4.gif
If you want to rename this compression setting you can where the text is highlighted in orange. (and it's not in sarcasam.) You can also change the video/frame size to 240x180 for an even smaller compressed file, but 320x240 is the online-skateboard-video standard. After all of that, just click ok...

http://www.sevenfiveseven.org/perception/super_settings/sorensonfour5.gif
...and your new settings will be added to the list of compression settings.

Enjoy.

Here's a screenshot of an uncompressed AVI frame from video shot on an overcast day saved as a 100% quality JPEG:

Here's a screenshot of a compressed MOV frame from the same video shot on an overcast day saved as a 100% quality JPEG:
