i just really want to know if there is a difference between paying 50 bucks for a darkstar or girl or whatever as opposed to paying 30 for a ccs or shop brand.

yeah by buying brands you support their riders, different deck technologies, and and overall better deck.

blake decks are pretty much all the same dimensions(for each brand)

with brand board there are more variaties of the shape of the deck so it depends on what shape you looking for

blanks are great for their price, id recommend blanks then a brand board.

ive had a lot of different brands and they all last about the same (1 month maybe 2) and i just want to know if the blank will last that long just a well as the others.

its the same concept as brand boards but it depends on how often/hard u skate.

blank decks last just as long as brand name ones. It's just samrter to pay less for a blank when it's just as good as a 50$ board.

so then i guess its worth it to start skatin blanks and shop boards to save a little money.

You would probably save money doing that. I would suggest trying out a few decks from brand names once in a while to know what sort of specs you like, or which boards you like the best.

Well, most decks are all the same but there is another point in buying blanks. If someone buys a brand name, alot of times they'll skate it lighter because they're more expansive and because of the graphic, making it last longer. Blanks wouldn't even matter.

it really depends. its kinda of like the shape difference between girl and toy machine. has anyone else noticed that toy machine has such different chapes then everyone and i read this somewhere that girl has more concave than extra decks, and i tested it, helps w/ flips and is stronger. way off topic. i like blanks for the price

theres a big difference because i have a blank and a zero and i noticed that the blank was a lot more heavier than my zero. plus my zero lasted longer and had better pop.
