Well, I've seen a lot of questions of rep, so i decided to make a guide on rep.

Question 1: Help! I can't give out rep!

Answer(s): That's because you haven't been to SB-C on your account for 6 months or more/ That's because you need to go to user cp, then go to group memberships on the bottom left corner, and select respected users.

Question 2: Help! I *can* give rep, has something changed!?

Answer: Yes! You've officially been promoted to a respected user. This means you have been here for half a year and have been an active poster. Currently your username will not show you are a respected user, you can enable this by: User CP >> Group Memberships (bottom left) and then choose Respected Users to be your displayed membership.


Question 3: I had some rep from before, but now its gone??!!

Answer: Well, this is because the Respected Users started, and it's supposed to be gone.


Question 4: I have some rep, and on the pages which show your rep (user cp), it shows less than the rep I have!

Answer: This is because there are different pages of rep, and you can see only the last page.


Question 5: How do you give rep?

Answer: You have to be a respected user, but if so, go to the bottom of a person's post(except your own). There should be a ying yang sign, but only if you're a respected user.


Question 6: How do you check your rep from your own post?

Answer: Ying yang sign.


Question 7: I received rep, but the comment is gone!

Answer: This is because the thread was deleted, but the points you received stay the same.


Question 8: Why is one of my rep gems purple?!

Answer: This problem is because the person who gave you rep, had a rep power of 0 or lower.


Heres a tip: Don't really ask for rep. Wait for it to come.

Sometimes it matters on how many posts you have/ how long you've been READING on SB-C. But that's rare. Well, you should become one soon. Or, go to User CP, then group memberships at the bottom left corner, and select Respected Users.

Question: Why do some people have two jewels instead of one?
Answer: Because they have 100+ rep. 200+ rep=3 jewels, 300+ rep=4 jewels, etc.

Question: Why do some peple have red jewels?
Answer: Because their rep is negative.

Question: When do I get different rep comments? I.E. Member is on a distinguished road (10+).
Answer: You get different comments from 0-9, 10-49, 50-149(At 100 you get a second jewel), from 150-249, and that's all you have to worry about now. No one is above 200.

Answer: An admin must have thought that they were good members or know them.

Answer: The admins must hate you, or there was an error when the rep system got switched.

You know how the drizzle or whatever, under his name it has Gayest user on SB-C? That's custom status. Mods and Admins get to pick your custom status. You can't edit it. But if you're a content writer, super mod, mod, or admin, you can choose and edit your custom status.

To get 2 I think you need 100 points. I had 109 then I got 2. Not sure about 3 and above.

You keep the rep points, it's just the rep disappears from your list when the topic is deleted.

I'm pretty sure -rep points is half of what +rep points are.
ex. +rep =8 points
neg rep=4 points
