i dont really think it does anything except your bearings will get fucked up because shit can get in there easier, and i dont really think it looks better or worse, but usually when u take the sheild off then the lil balls in the bearings will get fucked up

Taking the shield off can only do bad things, and don't think if you turn them around it'll help. I thoroughly cleaned a friend's fucked up bearings and he did that, there was still loads of dirt in the bearing 2 weeks later.

ive had the shields off my diamond rings for a long time..the only problem is if you smash a bearing with the shields on,,more than likely the shield will keep the balls in for a good time,,,if the shields are off the balls go everywhere
