I was wondering about that; the lady at the shop said that their landlord would have a heart attack if people skated that plaza. Which as you know totally sucks because the pavement there is so nice.

I also wondered where the regulars skated since then...

i'm originally from that little clusterfuck of new jersey cities that are like 5 minutes from manhattan. i usually just tell kids i'm from new york instead of having to explain that to them. i kind of just identify with nyc cuz i skate there and with philly cuz i bike around and go to shows there all the time. i wish i lived closer to philly so i could just say i was from there. i'll probably move there someday. but anyway this probably also explains why pretty much all my music taste has that typical ny/nj/philly sound. blah blah blah ramble.
