Whats the difference between a wide deck and a thin deck?
Whats the best for skating street?

well depends, i wide deck is easier to catch but harder to flip. If ur just ollied big sets n grinding hubbes n 180s n stuff id say a wider deck like 8.25 but if ur looking at flipping sets n more tech stuff id say a 7.75-8.0. i cant stand anything under a 7.75 feels like im on a stick with wheels

My tip is to get 7.75 max, 7.4 min. You do skate street but I don't know at what you're aiming. Campfire explaned perfectly but he was going just too big in numbers, I'd reccomend 7.75 for grinds and stable ollies etc. and 7.5/7.4 for flipping and techy stuff.

Thin decks are lighter and flip easier, better for tech and street
Wide decks are heavier, more stable, better for ramp and beginners
