Bones red bearings..?

I have Bones red bearings, and I was wondering if you can take the dust shield off. If so, which one, the red part or the clear thing on the back? I tried popping the plastic thing off on the back but it didn't come off.

your sopesed to take the red part of, but only if your cleaning it.

u take a paper clip end and stick it through the gap on the side where the clear part is and you push out the red shield. when your done cleaning and you lubed it then you just pop the red shield back on

What the fuck? With Reds you take the clear part off. Just take a small flat head screwdriver and pry them off. You don't need to do it to clean them, but it helps. To put them back on try to have the balls equally spaced and if one pops out of place just put it back with the screwdriver.

I was trying with a knife, just didn't want to break something.

Yeah, just do what I said. Don't worry about moving the bearings with the screwdriver, it doesn't screw them up. It's kind of a time consuming project though so I only do it when I need to.
