i dont know how much of you play baseball here, but i do,

just thought i would share a little info, now your turn, post your stats or your league or whatever you want.

I don't play baseball, but I know alot about the game. Batting .375 is actually a pretty good average. Most people are about at a what, umm.... .200 or something. Keep it up man!

I play on my school's varsity team. Last year I played outfield, mainly left but center a few times. At the end of the year my batting started to come around as well. I got a few key hits for my team.

I used to play for the school team. 2nd base and outfield.
Then I realised how much of a major commitment it is around here (like if you don't do like 5 summer leagues you are looked down upon) so I stopped

My batting average isn't anything to brag about. I'm batting just barely .200, but I don't worry about batting that much. I'm normally a pitcher.

College Football > NFL
College Basketball > NBA

I used to play but, i decided to quit, Because i had no extra time for anything, B/c of football. But when i played i led the league in triples and doubles, I was led off hitter and my last season i had 8 HRS and i forget my RBI's ammount.

holly shit 420? thats out of the deepest part of finway.but anyways i love baseball best sport.we played last night lost 8-6 though.but it was against the best team in the league so we are the only team not to get 10 runned ruled by them.i went 2-3 at the plate with a single and double and 2 rbi.i catched then pitched for 3 innings and had 4 stricke outs.im not that great at pitching but i usually get the job done had 13 stike outs last time against that team in 5 innings.

I dont play in a league or anything but i played with my friends alot. Im not a very good hitter I can only hit a double. The things im good at are pitching and fielding. I got a triple play at school. =]
I cant remember how fast i can pitch.
But in the MLB my favorite teams are the White Sox and the Diamondbacks.

He must be 14 or 15.

I'm on a select baseball team and have been for three years. I bat..somewhere around .325. I'm doing well lately, in the last two games I've gone 5 for 7, scored three runs and brought in three RBI's. Our team is 5-3 and last night (when we were 4-3)we beat an 8-1 team 4-2. We were glad about that.

This is a younger league, right? Because I thought AAA was minor league ball, one step below the major league.

if any pitchers want to learn a new pitch, try the knucle ball. if you can get good at it you will dominate. they are a very difficult pitch to learn but it has a LOT of movement.

Myalterego
06-17-2006, 09:50 PM
My pitches have a lot of movement already, since I'm left handed. My curveball and splitter have a ton of movement. Pujols and Eckstein need to come back because we suck without them.

the knuckle ball is something you got to have good conditions to throw.i mean i can throw one but i dont use it often because i dominate with my fastball and curveball.also something else to leanr is the knuckle curve i throw that aslo i find i get more of a hook on it.plus its a bit faster then my regular curve but not quite as fast as my fastball.so its a good change to keep them guessing

the other night at our game it was a bean-ball fest. i got hit in the ankle, and 3 other kids on my team got hit also. half of them were clearly intentional. i made a diving catch off the pitchers mound, almost took a kids head off twice in a row. deffinitly the most exciting game of the season so far.

Wow what a game.Well today being Canada day we playing against the other local team. Were pretty evenly matched, and there was alot of people there plus my AA coach was there so i wanted to impress him,not including the ladies as well haha.Anyways Came down going into the last inning we was down by 2 so the coach puts me into pitch.Struck out the first guy, second guy hits a single. Then the next guy hits one back to my i throw it to second going for the double play and they guy dosent stand on the bag,so there both safe. Then i struck out the next 2,so going into the last bat its 13-11.First guy up gets walked them i go walked. We both stole to make it second and third no outs.Next guy strikes out, then guy after him gets a walk.My friend stole home and a past ball,So one out, guys on second and third again(im on third). The pitcher walks the next guy, then stikes out the next.So 2 outs bases loaded baby.My friend get full count. Then smacks a single up the middle i score to tie the game the guy behind me is ripping and was safe.So we won 14-13.What a game.

im 13 i play on a 330 ft field 90 feet bases and 60 foot mound so its almost like a mlb field except for the fence distance i play 3rd base, center field, and ill come in for relief as a pitcher (so ill only come in for an inning or two). i usually hit 5th and around .300 - .310 i dont strike out much. as a pitcher i throw in the high 60s low 70s yeah thats pretty much it

this was my best year so far. i hit .587 with 2 home runs(1 inside the park). i pitch and play 3rd base. i pitched awesome. 54 innings pitched, 71 k's, 20 hits given up, and i think a 1.32 era. our coach gives us stat sheets. this year was sweet except for losing the championship to some team we played twice and beat them both times. bullshit calls.

Actually its all about bat speed and muscle. If your really fat and have a slow bat speed the ball is going to be behind you before you even get a chance to swing.

Seasons over for little league, but my coach was a dumbass. I batted .359 and he had me batting 6th, compared to his son who batted like .250 and this queer that got 2 hits the whole season, and a dude that had 1 homerun so he batted fourth. He probably made contact with the ball abot 1/10 of the time. Oh well, baseball is still the best sport besisdes skateing for me, and I play Pitch, catch, and 3rd
EDIT:: Sorry about the complaining
