abec ratings dont have nething to do with speed unless u plan on going 85 mph on ur board abec dosnt mean shit for skateboard bearings but id get reds or swiss 6 i just got red today they broke in in about n hr n r so smoothe but if u got the money get swiss 6

i just got rid of my reds and got swiss 6, and ill tell you something, you obviously dont know anything if you really think that. the swiss 6 are awesome. and back to the thread. dont get abec bearings, get anything bones, but if ur low on cash, mini-logo makes a fairly decent 10 dollar set of skaterated bearings.

speed demons abec 7 are really cheap (I think they are the same as reds) and in my opinion they are better then reds (I've owned both)

reds are agec 5. they have 5 balls. super swiss 6 have 6 balls. but the berrings i love and i think are better then bones are RUSH. i have abec 7 and i love it but soon im gonna het abec 9. get rush, got to www.blankskatesupply.com and go to berrings. the abec 9 are about $19 so their better.

first off, reds have 7 balls and have not been officaily abec rated(by bones)

2nd, the reason swiss 6 balls are better is because they have less bearings which means less friction

3rd, abec rating doesnt really mean jack as far as skating goes. the abec system was made for bearings used on small electric motors
