i just started this, this year with the cancer society, its a skate-day in which people from kingston, ontario, Canada get to miss a day of school to sk8 for cancer. my grandfather has cancer and its the least i could do:) so go to any cancer vunteering place where you live and see if they will do it too

You could possibly get some people to donate money to you, and then have a big event like a "skate contest" or even "s.k.a.t.e. tournament". Then they actually get something in return for donating money.
