Does World Industries make good skateboards ?

well......do they? I am a new begginer and wanted to be sure before buying skateboard. If you think WI do not make good skateboards please give advice for any other good companies. Thanks

look anywhere in the decks section of the forum to find out good decks, and i personally hate world industires, but it wouldnt kill you to have one as a beginner, because you wont be doing anything huge where you would break it or need a board with crazy pop or anything.

no dont buy wi they suck. if ur just beginning skating, by alien workshop theyr good and they have cool graphics

The're great beginner boards but buy a Baker when you get better.

for beginners they are good. for intermediate to advanced they are bad. They usually are lower price so if your low on cash i would reccomend one, actualy no, if you are low on cash get a mini logo or a powell blank, or other company blank. remember to check size of deck so you dont endup with a bigfoot board, aka an 8 or larger.

for a beginner id say buy a mini logo there cheep and really good decks

for a begginer WI wouldn't be to bad, but when you get better or if you just want to buy a better board got to http://www.actionvillage.com thier deck slection is pretty good and cheap, kind of because after shipping it comes to 50 bucks anyway

it woulnt hurt to have WI as a beginner.. i still wouldnt buy one tho.. i hate the company

With SO many negative responses i think i'm not gonna buy Wi skateboard, Thanks for the advices. But as a new beggyner should i buy it, i heared Wi decks have Good Pops!

My friend had WI and he broke it within a month of skating, it was his first board from a skate company. He landed with his feet in the center and it snapped, the board was almost in perfect condition too. They are weak!

u can go to a skateshop and buy one of their store deck completes. Usually they arent THAT bad but I think they'd be good for a beginner.

A WI was my first board.Good for beginers.Afterwords try a Zero when you get better.
