I may be stupid for asking this question, but what difference does deck width make? Should i get a deck based on my shoe size? I currently have a 7.88, and i wear a size eleven shoe, Is this okay?

shoe size has nothing to do with it it is just preference my fried wears a size seven and he is skating an 8.25 so just try different sizes until you find what feels right

Unless you're mainly a mini ramp skater, get a smaller deck.

It's harder to flip tricks on a bigger deck, there's more wood to push, get it?

Try a 7.625 or 7.75. A 7.88 is way too big. I got 11 feet, and I use a 7.5.

Stick with 7.88. I wear a size 10 but 7.88's are perfect. I can flip them way easier and much better too. Anything smaller is too small for me. Well, just do what feels right.
