Following the habitat review by sk8tingblind 112, I decided to make my own and I hope some other people make their own threads to help others and stop the "what deck?" threads.

Darkstar
Darkstar Skateboards is Chet Thomas, Paul Machnau, Gailea Momolu, Mike Hastie, PLG, Adam Dyet and Paul Trep . Starting off as a wheel company darkstar has evolved into a deck brand as well. We are a 100% Skateboarding company. Founded in 1997 with a top of the line "Master" urethane and moving deck technology forward today, with "Armor Light" the Newest for 2006.

I've had my Darkstar Chet Thomas Armor Ply 7.5 deck since Christmas

::Graphic::
I like the grphic of Darkstar decks, they are mostly black and white in the form of some kind of fierce animal or that wierd knight symbol. They don't last any langer than other deck, not that I know any that do.

::Shape::
Most of the molds used to make Darkstar decks are Monster molds giving them steep concave and a pocket behind the bolts to place your foot. The Nose and tail are not too steep but medium, the nose is about 3 cm longer and steeper than the tail. Come in sizes from 7.5 to 8.3. 8/10

::DDurrability::
Sadly Darkstar are well known for chipping very easily, I currently have 2 chips from the nose and one from the tail. There are alot of pressure cracks in the nose and around the trucks, the board feels really stiff and strong. Many people have said that they are nearly impossible to break, I have not got there yet. The tail wears down medium, I'm through to the 5th ply. 5/10

::Pop::
Also well know for good pop. The pop was amazing when I first got the deck. Near the start the board got really wet cause I, on several ocasions skated in the rain. Some of the plys looked like they were splitting apart and the cracks formed (they have not split anymore). Even after all the wet and damage the pop is still incredible and sounds nice and crisp (probably not important). 9/10

::Overall::
Overall I give my deck an 8/10, in my view they are good in all aspects and also make the best wheels in the world. Really light and flip very quickly
