here i am sk8tingblind 112 here to do a review with you over habitat skateboards. first lets get a little information on the, company. Habitat skateboards. it was formed in 1999, and has a reputation of being one of the best skateboard companies out there. they have a great team, who consist of Getz, Gall, Wenning, Garcia, o'Connor, Janoski, Selgo, Baxterneal, and Molinar. Their boards are made of 100% hard rock canadian maple. In their thread and wood series there is a layer of hemp inbetween the sheets of ply.

ok lets get started. i have had my Habitat for around 1 1/2 months. this is what it looks like now. by the way, i snapped my industrial truck today, that is why one is missing.

Graphics<---> these boards introduce a nice abstract look to them. they incorperate earth tones, and hidden animals. overall, these are eye catching graphics that will impress your friends. here is an example http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c88/banders112/habitat1.jpg

Shape<---> the shape of these boards is great. nice steep tail and nose, and overall feel of the board is great. great feel and control. some have steeper noses and tails. they come in a variety of sizes. from anywhere from 7.5 to 8.0 depending on what you like, or how big your feet are.

Durrability<---> these decks are known for durrability. this is by far one of the strongest boards i have ever had. the tail wears down moderatly fast, and i am on the 3rd layer. overall, these decks are super strong, and will last a long time. I have yet to chip the tail, so it is fairly strong. the nose and the tail are almost identical, so if your tail wears down to much, then just switch ends. For durrablility, i give it a 9/10.

Pop<---> again, these boards are known for having some of the best pop among competitors. it is absolutly huge. it lasts quite a while, i am on the 3rd layer after about a month and 1/2. overall i give the pop an 8/10. the 8 is for the fact that it wears down moderatly fast.

Concave<---> habitat skateboards have a fair amount of concave. it is not extremly large, such as enjoi, but not as small of concave as chocolate. basically, it is average. it flips really nice, it just takes alittle time to get used to, coming from an enjoi deck. overall i give the concave a 7/10.

nose/tail<---> Habitat skateboards nose and tails are pretty much mirror images of each other. they skate the same, and it is overall, pretty steep of a tail/nose. i give it a 8/10.

Overall<---> overall i give these boards a 9/10. great boards, great team, great movies. go down to your local shop, and try one of these boards a try, i promise you wont be disapointed

i skated the gall hemp deck, it was pretty good and lasted me 5 months, downside is I cracked it doing a small caveman boardslide so they are not the strongest
