Almost or Element?

My friend wants to get a good deck (Not me, I'm happy with my Zero) and is leaning toward an Element board but I think an Almost board is overall better... I haven't skated with either of 'em

Give your opinions on what's better and pros/cons of Almost and Element boards... :)

it depends element loses the graphic and r hevy.If he gets a element deck he should some light trucks or a featherlight there very light with light trucks

They are nicer than you think.

Good pop, nice concave, didn't break easily.
Heck, some guy who weighs like 180 pounds skated it and stomped it for like 4 months and it still felt very solid in the middle.
Too bad he was a tail dragger.

Small tail, almost no pop, very uncomfortable.

Almost, Element brags about how good there boards are and how light they are but i tried out a fiberlight and they were heavy as fuck and snapped trying to ollie a little 3 set which was my friends board so my zero is the best light good pop but if you had to chosse between the two get almost.. But i highly recommend Zero or Baker

The Almost resin decks are sick. the 8 ply one was soo light and strong. tell your friend to get alomost

I have an almost resin deck and its really good. Although mine looks like shit now its still got really good pop and feels strong but ive never skated an element deck.

dont get an element they lose pop very fast and are heavy and arent that durable the only element i would go for is the original fiberlight the helium my friend got and it snapped in 1 week so go for the almost or better yet the almost resins i heard they are pretty bad ass

trust me i have gone throught ALOT of elements and they chip easily no matter where you skate .....get and alomost or you will probably regret it
