I'm looking for some new songs to learn on the guitar.
I'll pretty much try anything. I don't want to just randomly pick a tab off the nety and learn it though.

So, what would you guys reccomend? I'd prefer something not so mainstream...

If you take advice then wouldn't you pretty much still be getting tabs at random?

I would suggest looking up some scales and learning them first.

But it depend how you want to play really.

I do know some scales. I want to get better at chords, but I don't like just randomly playing and switching from/to chords. Plus I get to learn new songs.

Yeah, I still technically am playing random songs... but meh, I'm bored and might find something I wouldn't have otherwise.

Haha, I should have known you'd post something like that...

I actually have a tab book of Are you Experienced. I can play most of Manic Depression and some of Fire.

But yeah, I'll look into those songs.

In Flames - Man Made God.

Its a four minute instrumental electric-guitar song. Not the easiest thing to play, but it sounds awesome. Back from when they used to be a good band. Me and my brother learned the separate parts to it.
