So what's the most diverse band you listen to? I mean, who crosses into the most genres out of the bands you like?

Sorry to mention my favorite band, but The Offspring is the most diverse I listen to. Just look:
Haha I'm so bored and pathetic.

annoying pop-punk (http://www.sonymusic.com/clips/selection/fu/061419/061419_01_04_full_100.asx)
REAL punk (http://www.offspring.com/ext_media/the_offspring/The_Offspring-08-A_Thousand_Days.asx)
Metal (http://www.offspring.com/ext_media/the_offspring/The_Offspring-07-Tehran.asx) (kinda)

epic middle-eastern-type (http://www.sonymusic.com/clips/selection/fu/069661/069661_01_13_full_100.asx) ***** almost metal near the end
Alt-metal (http://www.sonymusic.com/clips/selection/fu/085933/085933_01_01_full_100.asx) (or whatever Staind is)

Scissor Sisters maybe? Haha, they're called Sisters but they've only got one girl and four guys. Just though I'd point that out. LAWL

DC Talk is all I can really think of. They used to be old skool rap, and now they just have a whole bunch of different styles in the rock genre.

The into to A Thousand Days sounded more like metal.

The into to A Thousand Days sounded more like metal. Really? I think it sounds like the James Bond theme or something! But I think Tehran is pretty close to metal when it starts to get heavy. I can imagine James Hetfield singing it in his 80's voice.
Ha, I've been thinking and their whole self-titled album has metallish lyrics.

The most clever use of crossing genres would have to be Skindred (reggae-metal, and they pull it off well), but I cant think of any that crosses the most genres.

Surely you can't have a most diverse band if you're talking about your own taste in music?

Going by what you're asking, probably Mr.Bungle, metal, ska, house, folk, all rolled into one.

Dave Matthews really incorporates a lot of different genres into his music, but it sounds very good nonetheless.

The rap group called Diverse! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

And I think Scissor Sisters were named after the lesbian sex position, also known as Tribadism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribadism)

Sum 41 to me are pretty diverse, because they started out as punk moved to rock and are now fast rock, with some songs bordering on metal.
