Probably my favorite ska band, tied with Catch 22 and Reel Big Fish.

Quite possibly one of the greatest ska band to date. They are up there with The Skatalites and The Specials in my book. Amazing band/

Considering the most talent in KEasbey Nights was THomas and now he made streetlgiht. I consider new catch 22 to be horrible

No, I hate this band. Everything Tomas Kalnoky does is horrible[/sarcasm, stoopid]

Gimp, BOTAR, Streetlight Manifesto and Catch 22's "Keasbey Nights" were insanely good. I downloaded their live DVD (I'm a loser) and they look great... It must have been one of their first shows in a while though because

1-They kept saying "Well, it's been a while"
2-Kalnoky's cable got unplugged 2 times throughout the show
3-The bassist lost a string and they had a bunch of dead time during which they told shitty jokes hahaha.

Wait, that was the "They'll Never Tour" tour which I think was their first tour as Streetlight Manifesto... So I don't blame them.

I sing a lot of SM/Catch 22 songs like "Point/Counterpoint," "Keasbey Nights," "Supernothing," (both Gimp and Catch 22/SM versions) and "Kristina She Don't Know I Exist" in science everyday and everyone at my table hates me for it

...Also, I recently found out "Keasbey" is pronounced "kays-bee" and not "kees-bee." I felt like a dumbass

dain84
01-17-2007, 06:34 PM
Um...since when do they have a dvd? It must be a bootleg.

WHAT????

Yeah, I think it is. The interview doesn't look too professional... I'll get a picture or something, holdup

http://risc.perix.co.uk/images/dvds/2004-07-25.png

Looks legit. Doesn't change the fact that it's a great DVD... I think it's like my favorite one now... Then again, I only have 3-4 DVD's... Oh well

...And yeah, I was shocked too. It still hasn't worked its way into my head yet... I'm still saying Keesbee

I found the single songs on Ares, but last time i did that (with Tools 10000days) i got so fed up with the range of quality and the fact people always fuck around that i just bought it (and imo some of the songs were completely different lol)

would be appreciated :P

I know the trumpeter and one of the saxophones has been with Kalnoky since Catch 22... And yeah, they're bassist is great. All this time I thought the intro to "A Better Place, A Better Time" was guitar... And then I saw the video

:edit: Also, I've uploaded Everything Goes Numb on that tracker site *wink*
