I think this comic sums it up. The Guy being made fun of in the first comic is the guy making fun of the guy in the fourth.

Hahahahaha, that was really funny.

I've given up on the whole "unique" thing. I'd rather like things that lots of people like and enjoy them and be a tool than force myself not to and be unique.

I can't think right now, what does punk mentality have to do with that comic strip?

hahah i actually liked becasue its true. I never really got around to saying but that is what happens, kids find some crappy punk music and thinks its the ***** then they move on to more "hardcore" bands, and they just keep going forward and the cycle contionus. Unitl one day you break the chain. I see it happen all the time on this board, and i too was once apart of this cycle.

p.s. Crass is still good regardless of this.

though that is true, you can pretty much make it apply to most genres of music. theres gonna be kids who just know the bands that everyone knows and thinks its a certain type of music and those who listen to the actual kind of that music and think they are the elite

p.s. Aus-Rotten is still good regardless of this as well *looks at Aus-Rotten pic in sig and glances around awkwardly*
