fiberlights-good for beginers

I am trying to teach this kid to skate and he is proggressing. But, he he wants a new board, he has kryptonics now, he wanted to get the element fiberlight. I said they are suppsed to be very light but not durable. I don't think durability matters cuase this kid weighs like 50 pounds. But anyway, would it be good for him or another brand.

Sure, whatever he wants, until he progresses some more, though, I really did like my Fiberlight.

It`s good for him now but they are not durible so it might snap later on.
