Deck Width

whats the deal with deck width?
i know it matters when you flip the board and what not, but all my friends say dont get a 7.75.
but i just noticed that my very first chinky walmart board that i learned to ollie on was an 8.
does your foot size matter how wide your deck should be? or does it really just not matter?

but im best with a 7.5

get 7.5-7.63 if u want a perfect sized board

I skate better with a 7.75 cause my feet arent that big. I find it harder to spin a size 8 deck. and yes feet size matter with deck width because its hard to catch a 7.5 deck if you have big feet and hard to spin a size 8 deck if you have small feet.

No, it's personal preference. That might be perfect for you, but I'd HATE a 7.5 or 7.63 deck.

I skate a 7.75, I just skated my old deck a 7.63 and it is very hard to catch the heelflip because I have big feet.
