I know Tom-E posted this a while back, but I don't think anyone really went to it or anything...

It is called Pandora and it is a program that takes your input of music that you already like, analyzes it, and spits back music that you will like. They decide which music you will like by taking components of it like:

It's roots
It's style
It's vocals
It's speed and other things

It is really good and it made me discover many great band that I didn't know I liked. I recently began listening to Pennywise a lot more because of this thing. I recommend it to everyone.

They have Ted Leo, they're good to me.

EDIT: I just typed in "Ted Leo," and it played a Ted Leo song, and then it played a band that I've never listened to that I now love. This thing is awesome. I used to use last.fm, but I think this is a lot better.

I've discovered a lot of new bands, including:

Hot Water Music
The Black Maria
From Autumn To Ashes
Down
The Academy is...

These are all great bands that I have taken a liking to recently.
