subscribe to threads?

HOw do i subscribe to a thread.

I submitted this thread and when it showed it to me i looked in thread tools and saw the subscribe thread option.

Sorry to bother you guys, mods delete this thread.

What does it mean to subscribe to a thread anyway

it notifies you when there is a reply

rather than CLOSE threads mods should DELETE them.
But I guess it gives them a feeling of power ,
to show everyone that the thread is closed because of them.
and as for the thread subscription,
I have been trying to figure it out and I have the answer,
when you create a thread you scroll down till you see miscellaneous options,
you then click on the notification type and choose how often
you want to be notified of responses to your thread.
