yes, if u clean ur bearings the right way, then yes, this will work. it will work good.

make sure u clean ur bearings first(the right way) tho, cause it will screw up ur bearings of u dont.

Yes, it will make the bearings faster and last longer.

Although, unless you seriously clean them before lubing, then it will not work. You need to remove the old oil from the bearings so new lube can live on the steel, but if you don't clean them, then the oil will just flow around the bearings and ooze out the sheilds. It will drive in dirt, which is never a good thing in bearings.
