Yes, it does work. How long it makes shoes last usually depends on how long the sole lasts. I will shoe goo shoes whenever they rip, and won't let them rip. You can just keep doing this untill the sole wears away.

I just find shoes with good, durable soles (e'S Accels) and use shoe goo, and they last so much longer.
