theyre great, u just have to find the good ones, the fiberlights arent good. i had a bamhim3 and i could do stairs and gaps so good because it supports the impact, and it flipped great

wood doesn't support impact.
if anything on a skateboard does it would be shock pads.

Elemnts are terrible. I rode a rasberry wray for 2 months it lost all its shape all its pop. the tail sucks and it started chipping after about 2 weeks.

I dunno why everyone hates Elements, I loved my Fibrelight, it had so much flex, and the pop was great. I believe the reason is because of Bam, and since just about everyone jumped on the bandwagon about hating Bam, they gotta hate Element as well, or so they say, eh?

yea i used to love elements i still have one at my moms, but they are so bad. They warp easily, there not sturdy. I broke off my nose on one of mine just by pogoing once. Thats not normal.

I learned to ollie pop shove and kickflip on it before it broke in 4 1/2 months. I have had 4 other boards past that and neither of them have lasted over 2 1/2 months. The pop is pretty good and the concave is average(thats how i like it). The one i had lasted and it never chipped. I can't say i was a crazy skater but it wasnt that bad. You just have to find the right one. I am actually thinking about finding another element now and trying one out to see if they are as bad as everyone THINKS or if they are bad and i was just a noob. All i have to say is don't buy a bam since they are made by a whole different company with whole differnt wood(bam uses element name is all)
