I'd probably go for "The Rezillos - Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight" because I love punk-rock music.

Or maybe something like "Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back in Town" because it's got a nice flow

It's funny I was going to start a thread on this. For me it would be either Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads because I love the groove and Rodney Mullen starts his autobiography talking about skating to it in his first pro contest. The other is Shakedown Street by The Greatful Dead because I'm a bit of a hippie, and I like the groove.

Sussudio by Phil Collins would be great for obvious reasons. Same with 'Hip to Be Square' by Huey Lewis and the News.

I could also totally be on board with this - Giorgio Moroder - From Here To Eternity (1977) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30hr7DyAuAY)

popular music: Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrUvu1mlWco)

Oh yeah I did it. This Miley song has the perfect flow.

indy music: The Naked And Famous - Young Blood - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YuSg4mts9E)

Good, clean flow, with a purity that most indy artists can't achieve without sounding totally pretentious.

hard music: 11. Organized Beyond Recognition - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGGowGFA7EQ)

Diverse progression with an epic climax ending. Back from the days when hardcore didn't mean screamo, and there were no skinny jeans and anime hair, just normal looking working class boys and girls. (late 90's early 2000's) A tough listen and definitely not for everyone though.

80s music: Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence (Official Music Video) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0AKJMGxwpE)

What can I say? Can't go wrong with this classic. Perfect beat for a skate sesh.

sad music: Far - At Night We Live [HQ] - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr-4JIKKEB0)

Gotta go with this nu-metal track from a band that often times toured with the deftones. (you can definitely hear the similarities in the way this track was produced). Good flow, steady vibe, albeit sad.

Link to the freestyle since I couldn't find just the beat.

I might use some rap music. Because that's almost the only music I use to listen these days. There is so many songs I'd like to use.
