I'm a huge Jazz fan. Skating to Brubeck is always a treat for me or Coltrane.

Is there any other Jazz Fans out there? I play jazz trombone actually, got accepted to learn jazz at Cal State Northridge, so besides skating, I do jazz...

Both calm my soul, so it's all good...

I've always loved Reinhardt and Miles Davis. Other than those two, the rat pack, and the college radio here I'm pretty ignorant though. I've tried to learn some jazz guitar but it's easily the most difficult style of playing I've tried to grasp. Maybe I'll be get into it again after I take a theory class this fall.

Any love for Soil & Pimp Sessions or Snarky Puppy? If so, can someone recommend me similar artists?

I'm also an electric bassist. The first round of college I did I was a jazz and contemporary music major in Maine. I'm also a huge fusion head. Lately I've been thinking about putting together what I call a "Skate Jazz" group a`la Tommy Guerrero or Ray Barbee. I'm also pretty sure I heard a Gary Burton and Chick Corea track in the background in an old Rodney Mullen vid.
