I don't want any of you to know that way I'll have listened to them before they were popular

03-08-2013, 03:01 PM
half that is stuff you see teen girls posting on facebook, not exactly underground

and stop being caught up in liking things based off their popularity, just like what you like

Lol so edgy.

Also, none of these artists are "underground." Pretty much anybody who listens to the genres beyond top 40 hits would know about them. Not to mention most aren't even really good.

Dude the hoodie allen concert in cleveland was like a justin bieber fan club meeting for teenage girls who think they're underground

I hate how people think them listening to "underground" music makes them difficult. Without sounding too hip, I'm totally unaware of what's on the radio these days, and more often than not people are unfamiliar with some of my favorite bands. But not once have I felt like I was going out of my way to listen to this music, nor has modern "mainstream" music hindered me listening to what I like, something people nowadays don't understand and for some reason blame Justin Bieber for.

And to prove that I'm not trying to be hip, I'm not familiar with a single one of the artists you've posted.

i don't care much for how undiscovered a band is, but these songs are awesome

heard this at a burgerking, has an african feel:
Brett Dennen - Darling Do Not Fear - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1CyvfTVhc8&list=FL7JsSEn0g4bDAyS7Tho7sVg&index=2)

i love the drums, this song in particular:
The Drums - How It Ended - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Fi8kDGyo0&list=FL7JsSEn0g4bDAyS7Tho7sVg)

forgot how i got into cranford, but while working at this rehab center i find myself humming this occasionally:
Cranford nix - Cigarettes and Heroin - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78Gu8jD6yec&list=FL7JsSEn0g4bDAyS7Tho7sVg)

manu chao, an artist who mixes latin/african/american musics. this song is but one of a great many:
Manu Chao - Me gustas tu - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzgjiPBCsss)
