I'm a huge fan of reggae and dub. Of course Bob Marley is the greatest of all reggae artists, but there's TONS of really great reggae out there. A few of my favorites:

Peter Tosh
Lee Scratch Perry
King Tubby
Scientist
Augustus Pablo
Eek-A-Mouse
Barrington Levy
Gregory Isaacs
Jackie Mittoo
Ernest Ranglin
Max Romeo
Keith & Tex
Prince Jammy
Toots & The Maytals

...and many many more. I burned myself out on the herb, though. Nothing against it, it just stopped agreeing with me.

Thats sick man :) You got some great names there, i know pretty much all. I also like:

Horace Andy
Israel Vibrations
Groundation
Jereme Oats and the music makers
Alborosie
Gentleman (was at a festival where he came, it sick)
Max Romeo
Dennis Brown
Stand High Patrol

Same thing happened to me bro, started to give me more downs and anxiety than flys haha

I've never been able to get into reggae, but I love ska. The two genres are pretty interconnected since reggae came from ska! Anyway, here's some of the Toasters...

The only true OG raggae band I've seen live was The Mighty Diamonds. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3mYgzY5UAI) They were pretty great! Yes, they did that song before Musical Youth..

I like Bob Marley but I've always thought people look at him as more of an "icon" compared to a musician.

Anyway, I like Midnite. Real good roots reggae.

I just can't get into Reggae, I like Damian Marley, but he raps so, but I do like Jungle which is a style of Electronic that mixes Reggae together with it.

Yeah man he's sick. I saw him live with sister Nancy, President Brown and Don Carlos a few months ago. It was an epic show

The album he did with Nas <3. I personally don't really like reggae, I can put up with it longer than say dubstep tho
