What genre of music do you think represents skatboarding the most?

It depends on the person's style, whether it be punk, metal, rap, or whatever. Jamie Thomas skated to Master P for his part on Chomp On This

I agree with popwar pill, I think that a certain type of music represents that skater as a individual.

Basically what Popwar said, but for the most part, usually those three genres.

I agree that people mostly use hiphop, some rock n roll shit or some metal. In my country many people think its funny to put old danish songs from the 60's and 70's into there video :)

LOL, there are several disciplines of "skating" and different genres of music fit certain ones better than others. The dogtown era of street and early vert went from rock to punk. Mainstream vert went from punk to metal and back to punk. But, hill bombing, cruising, street flipping, and vert are all different attitudes. Probably metal for downhill, hip hop for street, rock or jazz for cruising, and punk still for vert are what seems to fit in my mind..
